Project Wisdom-
Each day students in the 5th grade provide an inspiring message which is used as a springboard for the comprehensive character education program at Grand Ave School. Overall, students showed significant gains in reading and math in grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 according to recent Scantron Performance Series testing.The school earned an 185 point gain in reading and math on Scantron Performance tests. Gains have been realized from fall to winter to spring. Gains have been noted in k and 1 in reading and math. This year 2010 ,the Principal's Honor Roll was the largest group showing significant gains in reading, math,science and social studies. Students have earned all 3's and 4's in order to receive Principal's Honor Roll. Congrats to all students for a job well done. We challenge you to continue this hard work and outstanding performance in the middle school.
