Membership Information:
The Students and Faculty live by the definition and acronym of being GRAND in all that they do. GAS is first, a place like no other, putting the child first holistically. Students at Grand learn about gestures of kindness, giving to others and striving to be well rounded human beings in the world. GAS Parent Teachers Association works in conjunction with staff to implement and provide support to students and teachers in achieving goals for students to succeed.
"Every Child-One Voice" is the National PTA motto. We strive for student advocacy and partnership within the Grand Avenue PTA. A constructive and prosperous Parent Teacher Association essentially needs parents to be actively involved for success. To support GAS PTA please consider becoming an active or voluntary member. An ACTIVE member may pay dues and be on the legislative committee. A voluntary member may just contribute monetarily and be asked to participate in activities requiring assistance. Membership dues provide supplemental educational programs for students. Please note that you do not have to be a member of the PTA in order to attend any PTA meetings or events we have. You do not have to be a parent to be on the PTA. Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents can be active or voluntary partners with active students at GAS.
